This Thursday I’ll be heading down to Nicaragua with Connie Rock, one of my co-workers, to visit our AIM base and spend some time with our staff there. I’m looking forward to seeing the ministries that our staff have spent the past couple of years setting up. I’m constantly asking the Lord to show me what He’s doing in the world, and this is yet another opportunity to see it with my own eyes. It will be a different kind of trip for me as I won’t be leading a team. It should be a fairly relaxing trip where we get to go and encourage and pour into the team and staff in Nicaragua. We’re also going to be spending a few days in Costa Rica. There’s some excitement that comes with a trip like this. I don’t really know what to expect. But I know that God has a plan for this time in Central America and I can’t wait to get down there.
Please pray for:
· Seek God’s heart. We don’t have a strict schedule which allows us to pray and seek where and what the Lord would have us do. I’m really looking forward to this as He always seems to surprise us.
· Safe travel. We’ll be flying into Managua, then driving to Granada where the team is. After a few days there, we’ll be traveling by bus down to Costa Rica for a few days before returning to Granada.
Refreshing. Pray that even though we’ll be on the go quite a bit, that this trip will be refreshing. Many times a change of pace and a change of place is just the recipe for a refreshing time!
Whenever a true missionary gets to go out into the field – as you are getting to do – something amazing will happen. A convergence of Kingdom into the earth realm seems to take place. May your heart beat a little closer to the Father’s as you get to do what is in your heart of hearts – be in the field!
No weapon formed against you can prosper declares the Lord of Lords! You are covered in the precious blood of the Lamb of God! We will be praying for your trip and health and refreshing! Go with the full power of the gospel!!!
I’m so excited you get to take this trip roommate. I love you much and I’m praying for you as you take off for a bit. May it be refreshing for everyone. Squeeze Tana for me!
