On Sept 3rd
ten young adults from across the country arrived into Gainesville, GA to take
on the task of leading one of three Real Life mission trips. The Real Life program here at AIM is for
students ages 18-22 and the trips run from 2 to 3 months year round.

These 10 leaders sacrificed much to take on this task and probably still don’t
know quite all that they’ve got themselves into. For 4 full days of leader training , they soaked
up information and bonded with their co-leaders. We covered topics such as leadership,
discipleship, ministry, culture, servanthood, and team logistics. We also plowed through 2 huge white boards
full of every question they could think of. Our prayer is that these 10 leaders would walk away from this training
feeling empowered and equipped to answer God’s calling on them to lead their
teams.

It is such a joy and a privilege to speak into their lives and see just a
glimpse of what the Father is doing in and through them. I’ve quickly become attached to these leaders
and feel invested in them. I absolutely
know that they will shine as they serve their team and bring glory and honor to
God. We’ve had a ton of fun together and
I’m really going to miss them in a few days when they head out to Swaziland, Kenya,
and India.

I praise God for
allowing me to be here now, for such a time as this!
