The holiday season is upon us! It’s officially winter here in GA. As I look outside today I see millions of snowflakes being swirled around by the wind. It’s freezing cold and heavy coats and scarves are my favorite attire these days.
I can’t believe that Christmas is in only 13 days! That’s crazy, I’m not sure how it always seems to sneak up on me. But this means that I’ll be making a quick trip home to TX, and I’m looking forward to some quality time with the family!
Later this week I’ll be road-tripping across the deep south from GA to TX with a friend and co-worker who is a fellow Texan. Then soon after Christmas I’ll catch a one-way flight back to GA. Call us crazy, but we’re looking forward to 16 hours (give or take a few) of fun and laughter and time to catch up as we make the trek. Please pray for our safety.
During my time in TX, I’ll be on the go pretty much non-stop. I’ll lay my head at 6 different places over the 11 days that I’m there. I’ll see 1,600 miles (give or take a few hundred) of highway zoom by as I travel about here and there. It’s going to be a bit of a whirlwind!
If you’re at the right place at just the right time and you happen to see a blur rushing by that looks like me as I’m coming or going please say hello and stop me for a quick hug! 🙂 I love you guys and am thankful for you in my life! I’m praying that you and your family are abundantly blessed this Christmas season!!
Will definitely be praying for safe travels! MERRY CHRISTMAS KAYLA!
Enjoy your time in Texas with family and friends!
Love you much!
