Wow, I can't believe it's already been a month since I updated my blog!  Since returning from my support raising trip to Texas, things here in GA have been in constant motion.  It's funny as I read the titles of my friends and co-workers blogs and their Facebook statuses, the common word seems to be "whirlwind."  But it's a great whirlwind that we consistently find ourselves in.

Soon after I returned here to GA from TX, we all took off to the woods to a camp near Cartersville, GA.  This is where we've had to relocate all of our training camps for the World Race as we've outgrown our headquarters here in Gainesville.  The camp was full of 200+ World Racers who are taking the first step on this journey around the world.  It was a great week, Racers were prepared and equipped, God was at work in BIG ways speaking to his children, and we all enjoyed some incredible worship led by Jonathan Helser and his band.

Right after training camp, I made a quick trip up to Tennessee to see Mom & Dad who were spending some time enjoying Fall in a place where Fall is beautiful!  Sorry West Texas, you got nothing on these fall colors around here.  :)  Mom, Dad, and I had a weekend together seeing the sites & enjoying the crisp Fall weather.

Immediately after this weekend, hundreds of people started pouring into Gainesville, where we would host a big conference for all AIM staff and alumni and extended family of AIM.  The entire weekend was full of incredible worship (again led by the Helser team), challenging teachings, and tons of reconnecting time with the "family" that had gathered.

Now you see why WHIRLWIND is a word used often this past month.  It's busy, but it's absolutely life giving.  I love what I do and who I get to do life with here.
