2009! Wow, it’s already here. I suppose the turning over of a new year has got me thinking a bit. Today as I was reflecting back on 2008 and dreaming a bit into 2009, a few things came to mind. Stirrings
11. Invest in people.
10. Accumulate experiences, not possessions.
9. Love. And tell people of my love for them.
8. Cherish Community. I believe that the people in our lives during each season are there on
purpose.
7. Find ways to consistently laugh and have fun – even in the silliest ways – even through the
hard times – even through the most mundane circumstances.
6. Trust. Do not flee from circumstances that cause me to depend more on the Father. Trust
Him & His ways above all else.
5. Grow. Embrace God stretching me. Grow into the identity He has created for me more each
day.
4. Embrace stillness and simply be.
3. Worship. Often and always.
2. Ask the Lord questions & listen for His response. A few questions I’m asking today…What
does the Kingdom look like? How can I have a Kingdom perspective?
1. Be near to the Father – so near that as I feel His very heartbeat, mine starts to match the
rhythm of His.
