If you haven’t seen or heard, we here in Georgia, had quite the winter storm come visit us on Sunday evening.  Within a few hours, 6+ inches of snow covered the ground, sending all these southerners into a tailspin (literally).  We are definitely not used to this!

It’s Day 3 of the AIM offices being closed because of the treacherous icy roads, so we’re all working from home and trying not to get cabin fever.  But it’s upon us…

To combat said cabin fever, we’ve enjoyed many impromptu snow play times over the past 3 days.  I’m a firm believer that it’s important to play, laugh, and just act like a kid sometimes.  So that we did.  Mother nature was beckoning us to COME PLAYYYYY!!

Sledding down our road…minus the sled.  We grabbed anything we thought might work:  cardboard boxes, Rubbermaid lids, cookie sheets, plastic trays, and skim boards.

It’s fun to live in an apartment complex with a ton of your friends to play with in the snow!

Meet Barilla the Gorilla!
My friend and fellow snow sculptor, Steph Conners, wrote this about Barilla:
He started out like just any ordinary snowman, but we were bored with
just a plain jane snowman, so we began to sculpt and Barilla took
shape.  Complete with rock hard abs, chest hair and a ferocious scowl,
Barilla the Gorilla will put any snow sculpture to shame!  🙂
