Many of you have asked “how can we help?”  Well, there is now a plan set up to answer that question.  After praying with our pastors in Kenya, we feel that God has opened up a door for us to provide food for those in Kibera.  This will be a physical outpouring of the Father’s love for those hit hardest by the current violence in Kenya.

One response to “How can we help?”

  1. Dear Servant of God,

PRAISE THE LORD.I am really moved by the work the Lord has done through you and the organization.I have just come across the site when i was searching pictures of kisumu.I love Kisumu very much but i do not have many pictures of Kisumu.

It is wonderful to see how God is good and loving. We Kenyans especially the younger generation has never seen such a thing in that magnitude called tribal clashes. It has awaken us to another realization that we should not take peace for granted.

Even though people are still half hearted about the peace which has been experienced since the signing of peace accord between the government and the opposition now people want a TRIBAL LESS country called Kenya and i hope that one day we will have one called Gods` Children into the minds and hearts of everybody in the whole world.

This conflict affected the church too and if things could have not been controlled Kenya was going to call another Koffi Annan to mediate in the chuch clashes because most churches were somehow not rooted in Biblical foundations and even if they were the church ministers were also very much affected and became partisan in the elction aftermath.

The international community did a splendid work……for sure even me i was affected too and felt otherwise.I felt like joining any army if there was any i could with a specific aim JUST TO KILL THAT TRIBE.But God NEVER gave me that opportunity thouh i kept on praying every minute. It is sad that many still lost their lives. When i am powerless there is power in the Amighty God and we take refuge in Him.

I have read this in your site

“When it’s time for the “babies” to pray, a fearless 4-year-old clasps his hands and closes his eyes so tight that his entire face scrunches up. “God, people die,” he says in prayer. “Please do not let anyone die in front of my house.”

I have laughed alot.It is long since i laughed and i am now relieved.May God grant that child his wishes and i believe that if the devil wanted others to die infront of this little child`s house it did not happen and the bottom line is that even this child did not want people to die.Amen.

Otherwise i am happy for everything you and your group are doing and may Our Loving Father reward you many times and keep all of you and your family healthy.Amen.

    Peter.
