Do you ever give your mind a break from thinking about things that really matter, things that really do make a difference in this world? Sometimes it’s refreshing for me to do just that. But it’s like I have to give myself permission to ponder on such obscure, random, pointless topics. Yesterday on my 25 minute commute home from work I just let my mind wonder and it was humorous to me what happened. So I thought I’d give you a glimpse of this by posting a FUN Friday blog! 🙂
I just realized how much junk is in the trunk of my car! I mean it’s good junk, but it’s a bit ridiculous really. I was intrigued as to what was actually in there, so yesterday I took stock…
Just for grins, here’s what’s in the trunk of my car as we speak:
– 2 discs to play disc golf (a driver and a putter)
– 3 Nalgene water bottles that I’m certain need a bleach bath
– A croquet set and a volleyball we borrowed from a friend (need to return those)
– A roll of toilet paper that I know has been there for at least 3 years
– Golf clubs
– A sleeping bag, 2 air mattresses, and a pump
– A pair of sunglasses that aren’t mine
– A tool kit (thanks Dad)
– A random towel
– 3 re-usable shopping bags (I really do try to be green sometime)
– A pair of greenish cargo shorts that aren’t mine. Anyone missing those?? I think they might be yours, Brittany Priess, if you’re reading this 🙂
– A flashlight
– A box of books to donate (thanks Ashley)
– A hammock and tree straps
– A 500 piece puzzle
– A purple raincoat
– A bocce ball set
– 3 softball gloves & a neon yellow softball (man, this trunk should be called a recreation closet!)
– A package of water balloons
– Half of a roll of bubble wrap
– A gray sweatshirt
– A Styrofoam cooler
– A bag of pistachios
– A pair of socks
– A freezer bag
