“Look at the nations and watch — and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.” –Habakkuk 1:5
These past few days of training camp, I have been blown away by all that the Lord is doing in our midst. The students arrived here in Gainesville 4 days ago as complete strangers, wide eyed and excited, yet uncertain of what they’d got themselves into. They’re embarking on a 3 month journey to experience the Lord in Africa, and the reality of this dream is beginning to settle in. It’s always fun to watch as the students experience God in a new way and begin to come alive as the Beloved. Walls come down and teams that trust and love each other emerge. By the end of Friday night, we no longer saw 27 individuals but 2 families, one headed to Kenya and the other to Swaziland.
Thank you for your prayers. Please continue to pray for strength & protection for us as we finish well and get these teams off to Africa tomorrow afternoon. God is revealing Himself to us and His Spirit is so present!
This is such a wonderful group! Kayla you have done an amazing job!!! Yes all of your hard work is paying off… but more importantly they are so open and hungry spiritually because of the example tht you have set. You came with great expectations of the Lord and the team 😉 Thank you for not only being obedient to the Lord, but for giving your whole heart! You truely are amazing!! (I can’t wait to hear all of the stories that you have to share from camp. And there is still more to come!)
